Volunteer Opportunities
Service Projects
The Merom Conference Center encourages groups to visit and use our facilities and perform a service project, as a part of their program. Groups that perform service projects receive our gratitude both for the work that they perform and also for the income they bring to our budget.
Work Camps
The Merom Conference Center also accepts groups at a reduced rate for work camps. These groups are expected to provide two three hour sessions of work in exchange for their lodging (usually 9:00 till noon and 2:00 till 5:00). Groups that come as a work camp are expected to either pay for their meals or do their own cooking in one of our retreat houses. It is especially helpful for one of the leaders of the work camp to visit Merom well in advance to discuss possible projects in relation to the skills of the prospective work campers.
